Linea is a zero-knowledge L2 network built on Ethereum and developed by Consensys (they created MetaMask). Launched in July 2023, the network surpassed $100 million in TVL in November 2023 and currently, the TVL stands at around $1.1 billion.
Linea boasts over 40 investors, including Amber, BlockTower, Collider, Electric Capital, and HTX (Huobi). The network collaborates with protocols like Renzo, ZeroLend, Stargate, and Gamma, providing point farming.
To start farming, activate your account by going through this referral link.
Before starting XP farming, mind that there are two types of points: LXP and LXP-L. They are distributed as tokens, so can be easily tracked in your wallet. They do not have any monetary value. LXP is awarded for quests and on-chain activity, which is currently minimal, while LXP-L is newly introduced for liquidity providers to the Linea Network.
The rules are straightforward: the more users bridge to Linea and stake on protocols, the more LXP-L they earn.
Besides, Linea gives higher weights to some protocols and assets, rewarding more points to ETH and LRT liquidity providers on DEXes and lending protocols. Users who stake their ETH and stablecoins in bridge pools also receive additional rewards.
